To underscore the need to nurture a close bond between parent and child during the early stages of life, the Foundation instituted the first and only corporate nursery in the country - the ABS-CBN Nursery. The facility recognizes the importance of letting employees experience tender moments with their newborn even at the workplace like breastfeeding on demand, cuddling and play. Nursing mothers are encouraged to visit their babies during lunch, merienda breaks and their free time.
As part of the company benefits, those availing of the facility's services are charged a minimal monthly fee. The nursery is equipped with modern facilities, is fully air-conditioned, carpeted and employs a full time staff who dedicatingly look after the infants. Chimes and soothing music are played throughout the day for the infants while literature on parenting techniques and baby care are made available for new parents.
