Math Tinik is a regular 30-minute children's television program on Mathematics for students in the primary and intermediate levels. Filipino children ranked poorly in international aptitude tests for Science and Math, reflecting the sad state of Math instruction specially in public grade classrooms. The result? Most children (and adults) are afraid of Math consequently avoiding careers which require high numerical literacy.

The show is not bound to the national Math curriculum but will stress subjects where Filipino children have performed poorly: the basic operations, fractions, decimals, money, geometry, statistics and introductory algebra.

These usually difficult subject areas are rendered more understandable and enjoyable through magic, animation and lots of activities that children find exciting.
